İTÜ TAŞKIŞLA – Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture

The main venue for ISAC 2026 will be the historic Taşkışla building, home to the Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ) Faculty of Architecture.

Taşkışla is a monumental 19th-century academic building located in the heart of Istanbul, only steps away from Taksim Square and Gezi Park. Originally constructed as a military medical school and barracks during the Ottoman Era, the building is a prime example of Neo-Renaissance architecture. Its striking stone facades, high ceilings, wide colonnaded corridors, and expansive rectangular inner courtyard provide a uniquely inspiring academic atmosphere for our conference.

To ensure you easily find your way through the building's historic layout, clear and visible markings will be strategically placed throughout Taşkışla, guiding you directly from the main entrances to the conference rooms and presentation halls.
